A New Way to Build Roads
LL-TEQ is not a better asphalt. It is a complete structural alternative — deployed globally by LL-TEQ™.
The Technology
How LL-TEQ was born
After several years of research and development, a breakthrough solution emerged. LL-TEQ is a soil structural stabilization technology based on advanced organic polymers and an in-situ integration process. It enables the direct transformation of on-site materials — including natural soils, granular materials, and recycled materials — into a dense, cohesive, and nearly impermeable structure capable of withstanding heavy and repeated loads, without bitumen or heat.
Initial pilot projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America confirmed the robustness of the process — even in particularly demanding climatic and geotechnical environments.
LL-TEQ™ deploys the LANDLOCK technology exclusively in Quebec and Canada.
Our Role
- Supporting the municipality
- Supporting the integration of the technology
- Supporting optimization of project engineering
- Training and supporting selected contractors
Key Milestones
A decade of validation
Tennessee Valley Authority Approval
The TVA officially approved LL-TEQ for road and environmental stabilization applications — one of the most rigorous validations in North America.
U.S. Military Adoption
LL-TEQ was adopted by the U.S. military for tactical airstrips, forward operating bases, and logistics platforms.
Case Studies
Deployed, tested, or validated in more than 35 countries across civil, industrial, energy, and military projects.
LL-TEQ™ — Canada & Belgium
LL-TEQ™ is deployed in Canada and Belgium, supporting governments, municipalities, engineers, and contractors.
Our Role
Deploying LL-TEQ with rigour and transparency
LL-TEQ™ handles deployment, integration, and implementation in Canada and Belgium. LL-TEQ™ supports:
- Technical project analysis
- Application planning and site evaluation
- Compliance with regulatory and environmental frameworks
- Implementation in accordance with institutional requirements
The role of LL-TEQ™ is to ensure deployment with rigour, transparency, and credibility — in projects where performance, durability, and compliance are critical.
A Proven Global Presence
Clay, sandy, silty, lateritic — LL-TEQ performs everywhere
LL-TEQ has proven effective across a broad spectrum of ground conditions: clay, sandy, silty, and lateritic soils; granular materials and recycled asphalt; desert, tropical, humid, and northern climates; regions subject to repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Wherever it is implemented, LL-TEQ optimizes the mechanical behaviour of in-place materials and ensures long-term, safe infrastructure stability.
Certifications & Compliance
A validated, documented, and responsible technology
ASTM · AASHTO · CBR
Mechanical strength tested by independent labs under ASTM C39, ASTM D5084, AASHTO T-324, and the equivalent French NF / EN protocols. Reported strengths range from ~1,600 PSI (LL30 4%) to ~3,200 PSI (28-day specimens), depending on soil and dosage.
EPA Acute Toxicity
48-hour acute toxicity testing on simulated rainwater runoff (EPA Methods 2000.0/2002.0, Coastal Bioanalysts 2013) showed no statistically significant mortality versus controls; LC50 > 100% effluent. Long-term and Canadian-protocol testing have not been performed and are not claimed.
Regulatory Status
Per the product MSDS: not classified as hazardous under U.S. OSHA (29 CFR 1910.1200), not regulated for transport (US DOT, IATA), not a RCRA hazardous waste; all components on the Canadian DSL or below NDSL reporting threshold (WHMIS).
